I find that alot of people outside of Pennsylvania have never even heard of a perogie before! (Its mostly a northen thing i guess) A perogie is basically mashed potatoes (often with cheese and or meat) in a ravioli shell. I love boiling them and eating with with butter and Parmesan cheese. :D
If you've eaten perogies, what's your favorite way to make them. If you haven't eaten them, what do you think about them? :D -
Never tried it but it sounds good. :P
-
I've never had one, but I googled them and they look good. :3

Hmm, Northern food. No wonder I've ever heard of it. It sounds ok, but I think I'll stick with my Kentucky foods.

I love perogies!

I thought they were Russian...
My sister made them before. They're really good with sour cream. -
Ill stick with my cajun badass comfort food.

GUYS STOP STOP STOP HOLD UP. THEY'RE RUSSIAN. RUSSIAN. Mkay? I grew up with them. I don't like them anymore though.
We do it the basic way. Meat, sometimes with something else. Never cheese or whatever. The classic way is just some types of meat or potatoes in em. -
And no..... A perogie is meat in a dough shell, yea basically like raviolli. Sometimes people add mashed potatoes to them, but it's meat.

Sounds good.
@lbf calm down. -
They are Russian but a lot of Pennsylvania has adopted them as their own :D a pierogie here is mashed Potato in a ravioli shell.
