"GTQ was built gradually over the years, eventually becoming a mess of code running on somewhat out-dated software. I've since cleaned up the mess and have been testing things out on a test server with the latest MySQL database and PHP 7. Now the plan is to officially move the site over to this new server running the new code.
Not a whole lot is different in terms of functionality. Mainly it's code behind the scenes that has changed. There are also some visual updates to the site, and proper handling of mobile devices (except on existing quizzes that don't use the newest styles). The changes I've made will make it easier for me to add new features to the site in the future." -GTQ Guy from this thread
Though that was posted a while ago, he's been tinkering with the site. While working on coding behind the scenes, the site will flicker on and off as being available as he's testing new features. I'm not sure what all has changed, but this is likely the cause of your 404 errors. -
