Thread Topic: When posts are marked offensive
-
Is there a difference between the lightly grayed posts and the darker grey posts?
-
I think they become darker the more times people mark them offensive. Not sure though.
-
Light grey posts marked offensive are usually from a number of average users marking a post as offensive (keep in mind that Moderator with a low status can also make this occur)
Dark grey posts marked offensive are due to a Moderator marking them offensiveModerator -
Actually, Kish, Hiccstrid is right. Moderators have a bigger weight on a post, but if enough of our average users mark it, they can make it dark grey too.
-
The posts become darker and darker, like Hiccstrid said. That makes them harder to read in case they're incredibly offensive.
-
Yes. And you can be penalized when your post is marked as offensive. The more marked it is, or the darker it is, the longer your post time. After a week, however, the affect should go away.
