I think because someone clicked the offensive button at your post.
My post limit is 30 and suddenly it became 137 seconds, later, it's lowered slowly but surely. Except you're using a blackberry, you can go past the post limit. I can post one second to one second. -

Mine went up to 120 seconds once. I posted something really offensive once, but it was last year when I was still kinda stupid. It really just depends on how offensive your post is, and if it's really offensive, more people will be compelled to mark it as so, thus making your post time go even higher. The effects should wear off after about a week or so, though. More or less.

Mine has been 137 before. But, I can post 1 to 1 second even if my limit is 10000000000000000000000 days.
