I think it would be good if it simply saved whether or not you clicked it last time and loaded that.

I think it's a great idea, if the "hide from 'recent posts' " part was changed to "show in 'recent posts' ". Most of the time, I want mine hidden, but sometimes I don't.

It's become automatic for me, but I really would appreciate something like this.
Perhaps the option of permanently removing a profile picture, too? It'd be better than just putting a transparent image in the box. -

So people would see our profile in the Forums, and assume we were a Newbie, which would allow for a great deal of underestimation of powers, abilities, and need for respect. -
But you can just remove/not set a profile pic. >.O
