Thread Topic: How to Post a Picture Step-By-Step
-
Notice: You must be at the level Junior or of a higher status to be able to successfully post a picture. To become a Junior, you must create enough quizzes to level up to that status. But making spam-quizzes (pointless quizzes with little to no effort just for the sake of leveling up) will trigger an angrier audience which will lead to less people taking your quizzes and therefore making it harder for you to level up, so be careful.
Now! You're a Junior and you want to fit in with all of the cool cats here on GoToQuiz by posting a picture. But you don't know how? Well, you've come to the right place. Here is a full-on explanation tutorial of how to post a picture.
Step One: Find the picture you want to post.
Simple enough, right? Just go to and find a picture that you really like. Google has many pictures that you can browse through so that you have a chance to find the perfect pic that you want to paste here. Go on, there's the blue link. It won't click itself!
Okay, now you're on Google. Type in a search term that you think you want to find a picture about. Such as, "kittens" or "butterflies".
Today we'll just go with "kittens" for example. It's a simple and basic search term that almost everybody will look up at least once in their lifetime.
Good! Now, once we've hit the Enter button, some resources and results should pop up when you submit your search term.
Do you see the blue words where it says "Images for kittens", or something similar to those words depending on your search term, like "Images for dogs" or "Images for butterflies"? Click on that, as long as the first two words of the blue words are "Images for".
Now you can see a bunch of pictures of (hopefully) what you're looking for. You're going to have to choose out of one of those pictures which one you would like to post. There should be a whole bunch of them! It may be hard, but just for now, pick one.
Step Two: Copy-pasting your picture.
Okay, so you've picked your picture, finally. Now, what you want to do is take your mouse, move the little white arrow on the picture, then right-click with your mouse (To do so, press the finger on the right button - just like the button you press to click on things, but the other one, the one on the right - and push it).
When you right-click your image, a list of options will pop up. Do you see it? After right-clicking your picture, move the little white arrow to that list and click "Copy image URL".
Okay! You've clicked "Copy image URL". Now, go back to GoToQuiz ( Then, once you've reached the forums, which I'm hoping you know how to get there (presumably because you made it all the way here), go to the forum where you think this topic will fit the best.
Seeming as if a picture of a kitten wouldn't fit anywhere else because there isn't a forum about animals yet, you would go to The Lounge (
Go to the link that says "Start New Thread Topic". Once you've done so, this is where it begins to get tricky again.
As always, give your thread topic a snazzy title, and if you want, a subtitle. Then, right-click the box where you type stuff in.
A different list of options should pop up. When you right-click that box and the little list shows up, click "Paste".
So you've clicked "Paste". A bunch of random jumbles of symbols and words will be there. But don't worry, and don't delete it! That's supposed to be there. That's your image URL - the one that you copied so that you can post your picture.
After pasting your URL, you need to put "" at the end of your URL, like so.
The last thing you have to do is click "Preview", right next to the "Submit button". You need to make sure that the image shows up properly before you post it, because anything can go wrong when you post a picture.
Perfect! Or should I say, Purrfect! Haha, sorry. Anyways, our picture works! Now, it's time to submit it so that you can show others that you now know what you're doing when you're posting a picture.
You're finally finished! You posted a picture! Seems hard, doesn't it? Well, once you get used to being able to post pictures, it won't seem as hard as you think it is now. Now you can await the comments that roll in when people look at your awesome picture.
But with power comes great responsibility! You can now post pictures, but there's an emphasis on responsibility. You have to be careful when you post pictures, because posting too many at a time and doing things such as spamming or flooding another person's thread with pictures will make them mad and you might lose a couple friends for that. But just as I said, you have to be careful!
P.S.: "What's a URL?"
The URL is the specific link (or as you may know it, random words and symbols) that you can find at the top of the screen. This helps identify what page or website you are on.

Br0wnie when I right click that doesn't come up I've checked for 20 minutes!

Dogsbuddy, are you a leftie? Because if you are, then your mouse may be set to accommodate that, and you'd actually have to left-click to get those options.
-
^ What Tenten said.
-
No I'm right handed.
-
Okay, on the left is what your regular mouse should look like. When you move that icon to a picture, the one on the right should be what your mouse would look like. Then, click the right button on your mouse. And then the options should show up. -
Depends on the browser.

Thanks, G2Q Guy.
