Thread Topic: Alright mods, we need to figure some stuff out

Well, no idea is immediately perfect. Criticism is necessary.
-
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought all of that was overkill.
-
I'd say the most blatantly offensive thing is direct insults and harrassments
especially if someone is presumably "targetting" someone by continuously trying to start crap. -
We've already agreed that someone invading someone's thread and hanging around to be a s---ty person after having been asked to leave was harassment and punishable, yeah?
-
I would agree with the whole moving things to the correct forum(s), however, if this going to happen to everyone if all they're doing is posting a link to the correct forum then I have an issue.
-
As for the invading and all of that, I already agree with most of you. Just.. Kish did go a little overboard, but that's okay.
-
If all people do is change from posting WIPs in the lounge to advertising WIPs in the lounge, what have we actually accomplished?
-
The Workshop isn't as empty. You said that, since we had promised GTQ Guy we'd use it, we should use it. And we did.
-
And yet people still post their advertisements in the lounge. And what good reason could we give why people shouldn't post their WIPs in the lounge if people still advertise there? "Well no one cares. It's not hurting anything." And you know what, they'd be right. And if you have one person posting WIPs in the lounge, how long before more join them. After all, they aren't hurting anything.
And then the people who post in the workshop will see the increased popularity of those who post in the lounge, and they'll switch back. After all, we can't tell the people who post in the lounge that they're hurting anything, and we can't tell those who did post in the workshop that they should stay there. That's being biased.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if we're going to draw a line, and say when something is too much, we need to at least draw the line at a logical point. And advertising in one place to post in another is not a logical place to draw a line. -
Then I suppose people that post in the Workshop are just going to have to hope people look there?
-
That plan is faulty and you know it. But I digress. Let's see how things play out.
-
Well, what do you want? We can't advertise, we can't post in the Lounge. If we have to post in the right forums and can't say anything, then what else is there?
-
hello there. i saw on a certain thread saying kish wishes he was dead, a user called 'still alive' claimed his post was deleted for no good reason. im not sure what the post claimed but i dont think it violated any rules...
-
I haven't deleted anything by that user.
-
Still Alive claimed something along the lines of: if kish is suicidal then why is he a Mod? He's not making a very good Mod.
Something along the lines of that, then he said what he said wasn't offensive. Kish himself may have deleted it because someone marked it offensive.
