Why would GTQ Guy just tear something down after putting so much time and effort into it to make it better and improve it? Plus, even if GTQ's gone, I still have YC, FaceBook, and League of Legends to waste my other spare time.

I like gotoquiz. You don't have to go to gotoquiz. It's not like you are forced to go there everyday. If you don't like it then go and do something else. Don't ruin it for the people who like it.
