I'm working on a redesign of sorts. The goals are:
1) reintroduce the option to choose from multiple display styles for your quiz
2) refresh the look of "generic GoToQuiz"
3) use so-called responsive design techniques so that the same pages display nicely on both mobile and desktop browsers, without needing two separate views
I'm mostly done with #2, which mainly keeps the existing look but increases the glossiness of the colored headings. All graphic elements, except for icons/bullets, are replaced by pure CSS. The logo gets a little facelift as well:
(If anyone is wondering, the logo design was inspired by the original digg.com logo, back in 2006!)
For #1, I hope to have at least four or five styles to choose from initially. It's probably going to be the standard style, a typewriter on paper style, a neon glow on a dark background style, Windows Metro style, and a pink with floral style.
I'll keep you all updated with the progress. Once the updated default GoToQuiz style goes out to the quizzes, other pages (including the home page) will gradually be changed over to the updated default look. -
