Thread Topic: Where things went wrong with the mods.
-
In 1 game I play, swcombine, it has a forum. Around 2300 players currently, and only around 10 forum mods. They can view ips, ban from forums, delete posts, and even edit posts.
But deletes and edits are recorded, and very few mods comparably to the player base.
What I'm saying is, we drop the mod team to 4-5, the most mature ones, and a coding bit.
The coding bit is, whenever the offensive button is clicked the username and post id is recorded.
When the post gets enough clicks to get deleted under this system, the post is replaced with a list of all who clicked, and the offensive button is removed. And if anyone is smart enough to post to the offensive page with the id it doesn't work anyway.
If you don't have the time I'd be bappy to build a general frame you could edit with gotoquizzes information. -
That's actually a quite genius idea.

Out of curiosity... Am I considered an immature mod?
-
Geek... I like the idea of showing who clicked the offensive buttons, that will prevent unnecessary usage I hope
-
I haven't bothered thinking over immature mods, I'm saying first the code for showing who did it is added then who is immature will show.
-
Don't you have a personal opinion? I can't judge myself. .-.
-
Sun, you are mature. :I

Thank you much, Blank. .w.

I think you're very mature, Maru.
I like the idea. -
Do what I do, just tell yourself that for everything you've done wrong you had no other choice, one day you might belief yourself.
-
That was at maru, (I really don't like given out oppinions to people)
Thank you anna. -

Thank you Ana. ^-^ You too are very mature.
I'm going to take that as you don't trust me as a mod, Geeky. :P -
I don't trust any mods.
