One thing I would like to argue is that you said that non-mod users are the ones causing problems by not giving this a chance, well newsflash: we've had mods for quite some time and seeing what was being done geek I'm definitely not happy with the sort of "civil justice" this is suppose to doing. Deleting some light humor because it's "offensive" then reducing his post time? You've got to be kidding me. This place is going become a whole lot less fun. It'll be a paradise for your little social cliques, oh I'm sure of that, but is it really fair to the rest of us?
-
And angry geek leads to revolution.
Which means trolling.
And pain and suffering. -
Not concerned for my own sake, but to some "unpopular" users and incoming newbie's (who make up the majority of the forums) this is gonna end up being really harsh on them.

Hikaru, you have just stated a wrong doing.

.
Cause... Well, ANY-BODY can click the offensive button. Chances are, it could of been some socially inept fool that made some multis and destroyed Geek's post. And, any Moderator could also penalize Geek. Not necessarilly... Uhm... I didn't spell that right. Ignore it.
Any-ways, also, any regular-non-troll person could have took it wrong, and penalized him. "penalized him.". Sounds wrong. You get me? -
Joker, GTQ guy uses ips to record offensive clicks. Proxies are time consuming and slow.
-
muh revolution
muh gtq civil war
muh fight for newbie workers
muh didn't even feel that strongly about it, but muh gtq revolutionary -
Ok, forget what I said about the "socially inept fool".
I hope I don't look like an un-educated jack-ass after this. I probably will. -
I can see your point hiky, however not to put geek down, he's a cool dude. But he has broken some of the rules a couple of times. Now considering that it was in the past, I have no idea what else he has done. I do know some of the MODS do not like geek and penalizing him based on that is wrong. If he had broken a rule recently that would be understandable. And it's only just a time limit that he has. It's not like he's being banned. And from what I understand it's only temporary. I also do not think that it is ok to abuse the offensive button if it is not really that offensive. But you can't harp on all mods for something that one or two did. That is also wrong. But I can see your point. Abusing the power given is messed up. But you still have to give the system some time to work itself out. It is new after all.

I first Nuna!

I didn't say anyone was a problem, I said we wouldn't have arguments if we were given a chance, I know someone in the Mods rank is getting too carried away with the offensive things but what am I supposed to do about
As for the rest of your rant I have no idea what you are talking about
Geek's waiting time is high because he cusses and posts a whole lot of offensive stuff, I have been stalking him, although I see at least one MOD also clicks offensive against, I have no idea who it/they are -
That's fine by me, but a select few people should not have more power than the rest simply because they have been around longer it they're more popular. Personally I think we should only have the ability to report users posts, and there should be a light filter on pictures that at least censors extreme forms of sexual content.

That was to joker btw

I think it was a popularity thing rather than who was here longer. I've here for almost four years and I was not even nominated to be a MOD. I was actually put on the list for worst MOD...but you dont see me knocking down the idea of having MODS.
-
I... Think I agree with Hikaru.
