If by cosmotology you mean cosmetics, yes. However, there is a difference between artistic application and everyday application. A beauty and style forum isn't just accommodating cosmetics, it also can (and will) be used to discuss different styles and for fashion advice and so forth.
artistic application and fashion art belong in the workshop yes, but everyday styles, advice, and makeup stuff would clutter up the art forum pretty fast when that's not even where it belongs. -

You're a newbie, you don't know the forums like we do yet. We would need a whole other section for these things. That's like asking "Why don't we get rid of all the other forums and just use offbeat? herpderp " I wouldn't use the thread, but a lot of girls would like it.

Alex, under that logic, why not just remove offbeat and make a forum for everything? The lounge is for conversation in general. And unless something gains massive and continuous popularity, keeping it to the lounge wouldn't be a terrible thing. Also, shut the hell up about putting others down for being new. You make the rest of us look bad.
Dressy, If you have a subject that is specific and popular, it deserves it's own forum. That's the entire reason we have the stage is because people flooded the lounge with soaps. If a vanity would be popular enough to need it's own forum, then why not let it have one?
