How do I get a dude who likes me to like my best friend instead? They dont know eachother, she had a party and I invited him but he ended up not coming. But like, they have so much in common. but I dont think she'll like him that much, cuz hes kinda shy and nice but kinda dumb and she seems to like a--hole-ish guys. BUT THEY HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON. I dont want him to like me! We get along great and can make eachother laugh, but besides that me and him have nothing in common.

You can't force them. Just get them to talk as friends.

but he'll probably still like me :P I dont know if I should even bother trying to get them to get to know eachother

Put them in a room together and they'll talk eventually.

its actually really hard to make him talk, I'm one of the only people at work he'll talk to.

Tell him she's a close friend of yours and some of her interests if you want him to know you're setting them up,if not hint at it.
