What if you saw someone you thought was gorgeous, just what you find attractive, and had an amazing personality you just clicked with, but they were actually the same gender as you. What would you do? Attempt a relationship even though it wasn't something you ever expected, or just stay good friends?

I'd probably stay good friends. It really depends. I can't quite just say whether or not I'd want to date them. I have hugely different expectations for boyfriends (or in this case, girlfriends) than I do for just friends. it really depends what expectation they met. -
I don't know, I'm straight but there are some things that don't really make me look like I'm a straight so I'm not sure. If the person is straight, forget about it. But if she's not, I'll hook up with her and see how it goes. Then again, I can always be friends with her xP

If the person was gay and made a move on me, then yeah, I'd give her a chance. I would never make a move on her, though.
If she's straight, screw it. Forget it. Good friends is good enough for me.
