Ahem...

Someone who's curious about dating or sleeping with the same or opposite gender when they've claimed to have attraction towards the same or opposite gender. Basically an experimental stage.
I believe it's more common in girls, but I had one guy friend who was bi-curious.
I don't think someone can claim to be bi unless they've had some form of relationship with both males and females and would willingly date either. -
So until I've dated a dude, I wouldn't be allowed to say I like them? That's not a very coherent definition.
-
I like how you ignore "I don't think" portion for that sentence.
I gave a definition to 'bi-curious' that made the most sense to me. Then I gave what I thought about a person who's supposedly bisexual. I hate when someone claims to be something, but they've never done anything with the same or opposite gender (depending on what they claim to be). It doesn't make sense to me.
Honestly, if someone wants a by the book definition, then they should look it up themselves instead of asking people what they think it is. -
"they should look it up themselves"
And that's what I've been saying on everything from the beginning. If I come on here with a question, it's because I did do the research and it still doesn't make sense.
As for your definition, the only thing I remarked on was that it disregarded people who might actually know what they're looking for without having done it before. -
If people know what they're looking for, they can identify themselves as they see fit, but I just can't see someone as bisexual if they've never willingly attempted to be with someone of a one gender.
As I've seen in high school, and a little in middle school, so many girls claim to be bisexual, but they would never date another girl, even if she had the traits that they were looking for. My opinion is based on how loosely people have used the term to identify themselves. -
I'll admit, "bisexual" has turned into a social status. It's the cool thing to be in school and it seems like every girl claims it.
-
That's why I can't accept someone as bisexual until I'm sure it's legit.
-
I haven't even dated yet, so I don't think much about sexual identity. Hell, I'll probably never
get laiddate, I'll probably just live with 101 cat-dalmatian chimeras and the Communist Party. -
Being bi-curious is your fourteen-day (or however long) free trial of bisexuality, no strings attached. Call now and upgrade to pansexuality, free of charge!

After all, the only difference between the two is your motivation to give a s---.
