I can really.. well lemme put it this way: I stare at girls. But not in the "omg she's hawt lemme get some"
More like: "Ah.. She has some nice legs. Ooo I love her body shape. She's pretty"
Yet I'm confused. I don't feel attacted to girls. Or..boys. well.. at times I think some guys are cute and hot but I don't technically fall into some deep crush trance or in love.
I can't really explain it. Do you think that counts as "liking girls"?
And what's the proper term that would best describe how I don't feel connections with both gender? -
I believe there's three levels to this. The first would be what you are describing, noticing aesthetic beauty in other people. You think something like "Oh wow, I like their eyes, hair, body shape, ect."
Then there's romantic attraction, where you would want to have a relationship with someone, or could see yourself being in a long term loving relationship.
Then sexual attraction, as in you actually want to do the do with that person.
You can feel like someone's beautiful and feel romantic attraction without wanting to have sex with them, or just think someone's beautiful in general.
I'm not exactly sure what you are, but maybe this site could help. It deals with asexuality and the grey areas.
