Thread Topic: What is love?

I was curious, is there ever the chance you'd find the one who was meant for you? Does such a person even exist? Someone who would take your heart and would be so good you would never have to take it back, or that you could never take it back...it'd be always theirs...
Anyway, I'd like to hear some of you guys's experiences too, especially if you've been in a long happy loving relationship. -
I need my faith restored in love...

Very cautious about entering any thread of yours by this title simply because of your history with those words, Papa. :I But I'll assume you're not looking for lyrics just this one and do my best to respond properly.
I don't think there's really any "one", or any person that's meant specifically for you. That's why it's so easy to fall in love with people. For some, anyway, I guess. You just find people who care about the same things you do. You find the one that matters most, someone who hopefully likes the way you are and wouldn't change it for the world. That can be hard to find. You might need to actively search.
I can't tell you any love stories of my own because the only one I've come close to was shot down by an outside party and never came to fruition. -
*just this once
also goodnight -
Thank you Mari. Actually, people don't "fall in love" easily, they develop crushes. Love is something made much later on in the relationship.
But yeah, I see your point. I have to say you're right for most parts. -
And good night to you too.

Basically love is a series of experiences.
Almost every person you meet affects who you are.
Be it from a relationship or enemy.
You are who you are because of others.
Does it really matter how soon you find "the one"
Once upon a time I thought it honestly did.
Now anymore I'm not sure what I'm looking for.
This world is full of surprises, be surprised.
Hear me out though, what I'm going to say is important.
Understanding love, and being in love are very different.
Rather than being infatuated with someone and getting hurt.
The thing is to learn from your past for your future.
Maybe what I've said can help.
Except you'll only know if you read the first letters. -
No more...
