Would that be a good reason to break up with the guy? Because you think that he is going to run off with one of his friends, even though he likes you and only you at the time?

No. That's horrible. I would never do that since he trusted me enough to tell me. I would only break up with someone if I didn't like them anymore.

The Geek- it's not me that broke up with him. It's this girl who broke up with one of my close friends. But that's no reason to break up with him. He's super sweet and would never, ever cheat on anyone. Plus, he liked her. He never liked anyone else but her while they were dating. -

She's also my friend in the sense that I talk to her, but honestly I only ever wanted to become friends with her because she was dating a close friend of mine. But now that I know the reason that she broke up with him, it completely changed my perspective of her. Just because he likes guys the same as he likes girls, does NOT mean that he's going to run off with one of his guy friends. That's just like a straight couple being worried that the girl will run off with some other guy, even though she's always been completely loyal. It makes NO SENSE AT ALL.

You should go have a talking with her and say that he only likes her right now, and no one else. Tell her that that was a stupid reason to break up with him.

Honestly though I'm not sure it's worth it. Like if she reacts to the extreme that she did, then he deserves way better than her

My boyfriend is gay and I'm bi, he's not the least
bit worried that I'll run off with another girl or anything.
I never understood this though..it's like,its the same thing with straight couples right? They are capable of cheating too. -
Thank you!! It shouldn't affect how you think of a person. Like, I've known and been friends with him since 2nd grade. Whatever his sexuality may be, it will never change how I think of him. He's still him. He'll always be my friend. How someone can be so stupid and close minded though really blows my mind. Like, if it was me, I wouldn't care. People just... People just irritate me.
