Problem is, he likes me.
A little too much.
His name is Ethan. We hang out all of the time. We're best friends. Ethan's asked me out once at school one time, and I declined, because I thought my friends wouldn't think too positive of me if they knew that I was dating someone they thought was a total freak. They say he's "weird" and "disgusting", but I thought they were wrong. Then the next week, he asks me out twice in three days. I was shocked. The next day after those three days, he wrote a poem for me. Then this behavior stopped. I guess he gave up. But this behavior continued about a week or so, and I thought he wouldn't stop this. I suddenly lost interest in him and he was depressed. He texted me that night saying he wants to be friends again. I wasn't sure what to say so I ignored him at school and his texts.

Tell him you just want to be friends if that's how you feel. Be completely honest with him. He should respect your decision and hopefully won't continue flirting, writing poems etc.

Teresa and Dani, sorry if I sounded like I was being rude to him, but I did that because I wasn't sure what to do about the whole thing, but I really wasn't expected to be called a curse over my clumsy confusion. I would've understood if you called me dumb or stupid, possibly retarded, but never a bitch. If you're talking about a bitch, you'd best be talking about the head of the student council at my school.
