On Microsoft word it doesn't underline words in red if they are incorrectly spelt.

Maybe they aren't incorrectly spelled?

Go to 'File' in the top left.
Click on 'options' about halfway down the page, on the left. It should be above the 'Exit' button.
In the options menu, click on the third tab on the left 'Proofing.'
Find the box labeled 'Check spelling as you type' and tell me if that's ticked or not. -
They are incorrectly spelt. I spelt fossils with one s as in fosils and it didn't underline
