I'm trying to portray someone who has lost touch with reality, and I want to make her seem unkept and unevenly lost.
Should I go with 1 or 2?
1, with long and short hair because it shows how much she pays attention to reality because of the two different hairlengths
2, because it still has the unkeptness, but it appears that she has chopped off her hair on a psychotic whim.
So which do you prefer, and why? All input is appreciated.
