Warriors Love Story: Part 2: The Poisonous Path

***********WARNING!********** Question 12 is very . . . Um, goryish. You have been warned. But, it is also a vital part of the story, so choose: no nightmares and no idea what happened in the tunnels, or maybe nightmares while knowing what happened in the tunnels.

In a time of battle and war, many things could happen. A new prophecy will arise. Even StarClan cannot stop this great darkness that is to come...but the fate of all the clans will be controlled by 3 cats.

  1. You have reached the age of 6 moons, and Rainstar has made you an apprentice, with the name of Emberpaw! Your mentor is Hopespark, the deputy! Scorchkit graduates with you, and becomes Scorchpaw. Crowkit graduates with you, and becomes Crowpaw, med cat paw. Honeykit and Sagekit become Honeypaw and Sablepaw. A white cat becomes Dewpaw.
  2. Honeypaw and Scorchpaw, come bounding up. Their mentors were right behind them. "We were going to go explore the territory, do you want to come?" Alderclaw said. "Sure." Hopespark said. “Dewpaw will also be coming.”
  3. Pawsteps thudded next to your ears and you raised your head. A famillar apprentice was standing by your head, flicking her tail. It was Dewpaw. "Excuse me, that's my nest." She said to you. You say:
  4. {Mid-way through your apprenticeship, 3 moons later….} You are out hunting. You smell the area, a shrew is nearby. You quickly follow it towards a clearing. The other apprentices are already there, ready for their assessment. You catch the shrew and bury it quickly, then head back to watch them. You..
  5. It is now sun-high and the apprentices had just come back. The mentors began to talk to the leader about how well their apprentice's did. Who do you want to talk to?
  6. They have all passed their assessment! Their new names are Scorchwhisper, Dewshimmer, and Crowpaw’s name is Croweye. Now, you realize, you are a bit lonely again in the apprentice's den.
  7. {Time skipping to your assessment day!} You are walking through the forest, stalking a vole. You swipe at it with one, quick blow. You have caught the vole! You bury the vole, then try to smell other prey. You smell Muddystorm's scent! What is he doing here?
  8. Before you can do anything, your mentor comes up and tells you your assessment is over. You run along, picking up prey you have buried around. You watch as your mentor goes into the leader's den, you heart pounding. "I sure hope you pass the test!" Croweye smiles to you, "I mean, well, it would be hard for you to fail anyway."
  9. Your dad goes onto the Sunrock, "May all those old enough to catch prey join here for a Clan meeting!" Rainstar's voice rang over the camp. You heart jumps a beat, you lick your fur clean quickly. "Emberpaw, from this day on you will be known as Emberflower!" The crowd cheers your name, you are full of excitement and joy! Now, who will you sleep by in the warrior's den?
  10. The next question is a cat named Icepaw’s P.O.V.
  11. I slunk along the edges of the camp, looking at clueless Emberflower and Scorchwhisper. I smirked. *Stupid she-cat. She can't even hear me.* I went out to the tunnels. Yes, there was a network of tunnels around SunClan and StreamClan territory. After the legendary Bravestar defeated the Dark Forest, they started doing tunnels to communicate with each other and with Clan cats. By the time the also-legendary Moonheart had destroyed the Dark Forest forever, it was thought that these tunnels had collapsed. But no. Now there was a RevengeClan: A small, soon to be large group of cats who were trainees of the Dark Forest; like me. *Stupid Emberflower. Stupid Dewshimmer.*
  12. I found myself quickly in the tunnel. "Is everyone here?" I called, "Darkrose, Shadestar, Wolfheart?" "We are here," hissed a mavolent voice. *Wolfheart.* "It is time for us to join," said Wolfheart. He slashed himself, at his heart, and I felt horror shiver through me as some blood poured onto a rocky dent, but then I realized he was dead and couldn't be harmed. Next, Shadestar scored her claws across her star marking on her head and I felt even more horror go through me, and looked away. "Add some blood from your claws, Icepaw," said Snakeheart. "Or if you're too scared, get a piece of fur. Yes, do the fur. It'll be best." Wincing, I tugged out a clump of my fur and dropped it. "What about Darkrose?" I asked. "Remember StarClan's warning," Wolfheart said, venom in his eyes at the word StarClan. The wolf’s heart, the star of the shade, and the ice’s talons. It doesn't say what Darkrose does, only that she's part of it. So she'll mix this--" Wolfheart nodded to the bloody fur-- "and we shall be joint. Step back. A monster will be made.” I scuttled away, as did everyone else. Darkrose mixed it and jumped away as a creature formed. It was giant. It had my claws, but bigger, Shadestar's eyes and her star marking, but bigger, and Darkrose and Wolfheart’s body, as if it was out together. I knew that in it, it had Wolfheart's heart (but bigger) as well. “So,” I sneered, looking at the monster. “What can I do next?”
