  • why would you ever want english? and that gently or roughly question made me so mad. i cannot even express how furious it made me! western riders do NOT ride roughly. constantly pulling, hauling and never giving your horse a moments peace is roughly. western riders pride themselves and are scored on control with LOOSE rein, the looser the better. that is not roughly.
