I have it. And I just spent three hours wandering around to hatch an egg I got only to find it was a ghastly

I like it a lot, I've gotten a ton of Pokemon that I really like so far. I'm just sad that we have to trade back Pokemon we catch in order to level the ones we want to keep. I want to battle more, too. >.

Did you already have a Ghastly? I happen to have my first egg waiting patiently for me to walk another 2-3 km to hatch it. :)
It's pretty addicting. It's a great way for me to work out, and learn to look up from the cell when crossing the street. I already feel a bit healthier after I spent 30 or so minutes chasing a few Charmander(s) that were in my neighborhood. Yeah, that part of the system is a little sad. I had to trade my first ever caught ones because they were WAY weaker than the ones I got today. It appears that my crappy throws can earn me some strong Pokemon. I haven't gotten to battle yet... The gyms in my area are in driving but not walking distance, and I got level 5 while walking on my own street and not out driving with my mom. :(

I downloaded pokemon GO and I like it. Finding pokemon is a long tedious process, sure, but when I find one I get super excited! Hell, even my dad downloaded the game! This is his first pokemon game! That's pretty cool how a kid-focused game can pander and interest people who had never known what a pokemon was! That shows progress in our way of life!
Anyways, it's a good game with flaws that can be fixed. My only real complaint is that it needs Data to play. ;-; -
Nintendo is trying to get you all to go outside. Just saying. xD

I wish I could get it but... I don't have a phone and I don't have a reason to get one any time soon. I have an iPod Touch 5th gen and I use Textnow to text and make calls with it (just needs wifi).
So maybe someday I'd get it, but right now it's not worth it. Looks really cool though. -
Oh, that's awesome Sylvia! I got my dad to download it too, and we walked about everywhere for a good two hours. It's really fun, and I've met a lot of funy people while out and about. Even had a guy stick his head out of his car to shout "GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!" to us while we were waiting to cross the road.
It's more like the battery.. It murders it.. ;-;
Well it won. It got me better than any person promoting being active, tbh.
It honestly is worth it, if you get past the occasional servers down. You get to see a bunch of people from many ages out and about, and a lot of restaurants have taken to setting modules (things that attract more pokemon) out to get more customers. It's funny. Hell, some houses say "next to this pokestop/gym" now in their description. xD -
I just spent three hours wandering my town and I found a 913cp arcenine. Totally worth the cramping legs
