I'm going to assume you mean for free, since I imagine everyone on this website as an idiotic youngster.
You can always start with Cave Story. Cave Story is considered by many to be the pinnacle of indie games, with its tight controls, fantastic story, believable characters and general level of quality.
The description on the website is very humble and misleading.
Another game I'd recommend is 'Barkley, Shut up and Jam Gaiden.' In my opinion one of the best RPG's ever made, possibly the best game, ever. It is, without a doubt, a true masterpiece that elevates the medium just by existing. The only flaw is that it eventually ends.
If you've already played that, I'd move on to Iji. Iji is another indie game with the same level of care put into its mechanics. Its simple gameplay has many subtle complexities that allow for fairly large skill ceiling once you grasp it. The story is also top notch, with multiple endings depending on how many people you kill, including zero.
If you've really got your heart set on horror, you could give 'All of our friends are dead' a whirl. It's a frightening, disturbing, trippy, and fun run-and-gun platform shooter that can perhaps best be described as Contra on a really bad acid trip; a hellish work of art replete with some of the strangest and most unsettling images you're ever likely to see in a game. The industrial rock soundtrack and bizarre first-person plural writing only contribute to the highly surreal and drug-like nature of this nightmarish trip.
Ib is also a good horror game you can grab for free. It's more psychological than Dead though, instead of body horror.
Yume Nikki is another horror game similar to the above. All three of these are good choices.
Or, or, you could try Space Funeral. It's a hard pill to swallow when you first see it, but give it a try. It might grow on you. After all, any game where you can play as a horse made entirely of human legs is a game worth looking at.
Or, if you're feeling masochistic, you could download Dwarf Fortress. Take the trail by fire like Geek and I and see if you're autistic enough to make a working fortress. -

There's not many free 3d PC games, unfortunately, but rest assured, I play anything that's good and a great many things that aren't.

SkyKirin NewbieHmmm. I don't know your likes and dislikes, but I would recommend Yandere Simulator. it's alwez getting updated so theres alwez new things to look forward too. it's a little high octane so you might want to read into it first.

Minecraft isn't free, dude.
Also, no FNAF game is free last time I checked, so that is out of the question as well.
You could always emulate games such as Earthbound or some other RPG maker horror game such as The Crooked Man or Mermaid Swamp. -
