Oh Biance, where to start?!
It's basically about these four former BFFs who were really close a year ago because a really popular pretty girl was their other BFF. but one day (a year ago) she mysteriously disappeared and the four friends drifted apart. A year later, they all started to get weird messages from the person named "A". They were all about deep dark secrets only they and the missing girl knew. They all thought their friend must be back. But then the police find the girls body. The four girls reunite and try and find out who A is and who the girls killer is. PLL is based on a books.
There's so much more, it has a LITTLE bit of comedy, lots of romance (-.-), but it's mostly all about the mystery! If you start watching it now you'll be pretty far behind.

I heard in the books it's Mona and Ian and Alison. I'm sure Alison has to do with this, but I wonder what the "Jason" thing is all about :{P
