They're freaking destroying Sesame Street. I was hoping it would be preserved until whenever I have kids. T.T
1. They're getting rid of Bert and Ernie. Um, WHY? T.T
2. They're making Oscar live in a recycling bin and be all obsessed with recycling. Okay, it's not that I don't think recycling is good. I think recycling is awesome, and more people should do it. But...Oscar's supposed to be this grouchy, mean old green thing that lives in a trashcan. I'm having trouble imagining him all crazy about recycling and helping the earth. His name is "Oscar the Grouch", people. >. -

It's indoctrination. They're trying to take the place of parents and enforce a certain way of life. Not that recycling and eating vegetables are bad things, but it should be the parents passing on skills and behaviors to their children. There's nothing wrong with cookie monster. NO DUH YOU SHOULDN'T ONLY EAT COOKIES. But he's the cookie monster, so of course he does. God even I got that as a kid. Stop trying to dispose of our ancestors' traditions and install a new way of life that's right and "progressive".
