Demonjoe NoviceMost people have already heard about the newest most controversial episode of South Park. This episode involved numerous mentions of the prophet of Islam, Muhammad(sorry if the spelling is off). This pissed off the muslims so Comedy Central now bleeps out the word Muhammad like it was f*** or s***. This is a direct assault on the First Amendment, and it proves just how easily this country will give up their rights when they are threatened by terrorists. I sent a nasty E-mail to the producers of Comedy Central criticising them for this BS. You can't even find the episode on the internet because they haven't made a version that they can put on there, and on the internet they don't bleep out f*** or s*** but thhey are with the word muhhamad. How come they don't censor the word Jesus, or Buddah, or Joseph Smith? They are all prophets but yet I don't see an uproar where they get made fun of.

it did get annoying when they did that.
f--- -
I agree with you Demonjoe, that is a violation of freedom of speech. Good for you for writing them the email.

I'm a muslim, but I'm the least religous freak you will ever find, I'm so careless with my religion that you couldn't believe, OK, I get sad and angry when I hear my prophet being dissed, but maybe it's because they think they diss muslims too much so they're pretending to be nice to us, obviously people who complained were religious freaks, but people like me don't actually give a f---, some stuff that disses Islam is actually funny.

"I sent a nasty E-mail to the producers of Comedy Central criticising them for this BS" Oh wow, that's really gonna solve things, ch....
-
Demonjoe NoviceIt might have an effect if a lot of people do it too, which is probably lot of people by now since this angered a lot of fans.

tongue NewbieIf radical Islamists are pissed about South Park, they must not have much to be pissed about. South Park shouldn't be taken seriously, it's just a joke. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
-
Demonjoe NoviceExactly! It's not like someone is tieing these people to chairs and forcing them to watch it or anything. Besides I think they have a lot more to be worried about right now with all their top leaders being killed in Afganistan in everything, you'd think they wouldn't care but these people will kill for just about any reason as long as it's for their god.

i dont think i actually caught the joke they made to make him censored. both episodes he just sorta stood their.

tongue NewbieAlso Joe mentioned how this proves that Americans will give up their rights when threatened by terrorists. Sounds alot like the Patriot Act to me! When you give your rights in the name of security, the terrorists win.

You see how society has devolved thoughout the years?
