I love skateboarding. I don't see why people make such a big deal about it. LOL today I was skateboarding along the sidelines of my street then this fat guy came and pushed me down and told me to "stay out of trouble" and "get a life". I can see why people may think I'm a bad@$$ because of skater stereotype, but we aren't all like that xP
Thoughts??? and who else goes skateboarding on here?? -

I lol-ed at that post. I've never had adults push me around for (just) the fact that I skate. But I've been told I fit the badass skater stereotype by my ex girlfriend xP -
Skateboarding's cool, but I can't do it. xD I break my neck.
I do snowboarding, though. Snow is soft. x3 -
Well, ever since I've started skating a month ago, adults have been giving me dirty looks and random people on the street started hating me. It's like, WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM????
But yeah, the bad@$$ stereotype is skaters that cuss a lot, spray paint graffiti and trespass. I don't cuss (sometimes) or do any of that BUT I've had a few cops come and search me the other day if I had drugs, etc. O_O it was freeeakky. -

dw1996 NewbieI love skateboarding. I know a few basic tricks, but nothing that insane. I don't think anyone has ever thought I would be up to bad s--- or anything. Yea I'm a skater, but I wear clothes from Hollister or American Eagle, so people think I'm pretty safe I guess.
