I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which makes gaining weight super easy and losing it super difficult. My doctor recommended LCHFHP (Low Carb
High Fat High Protein) diet. Which is what Keto is. I need to lose about 150lbs and I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and seen good results? -
I have not personally tried the Keto diet and I am by no means an expert but I do know several people who love it and it seems to work for them.
One person specifically that I know was extremely overweight and is still in the process of losing weight, but since they started keto they are definitely less overweight than they were. (That's just about the most vague thing I've said all day! :P)
So from my limited knowledge and experience I'd say it's worth a shot, especially if you want to lose that much weight. -
Thank you!
I have been on it for about a week or so and I am struggling a little bit with eating the left overs and staying away from the junk. I am trying really really hard though. So that counts -
That's great! I think the main goal is to stick with it, which sounds like it's what you're doing.
if you've got a really good hubby maybe you could get him to do it with you for moral support :P -
Haha get him to try? That's funny. Oh honey I have tried with that man and he is just so stubborn when it comes to letting go of his junk food. He would rather lose a limb.

XD I know how men are
