I feel like even though I'm exercising 70-80 minutes a day (cardio, targeting workouts, and weights, not all in one day). I'm also on a diet eating whole grains, chicken breasts, vegetables, fruits and other healthy things but sometimes I just feel hopeless. I always keep to my schedule but I feel like my stomach is not going to be flat like I want it to. I know it takes time but it's just such a struggle to not think negatively. Anyone feels the same way?

I've never really experienced that seeing as how I'm a naturally slender guy-but I understand how hard it can be to exercise everyday and eat a healthy diet, and quit bad habits(I was a heavy smoker, my last cig was a couple of months ago and I'm dying for one but I'm saying no) there are days where I just want to throw my hard work and dedication away but I remind myself why I quit in the first place and started a healthier lifestyle, so perhaps you should try the same-don't give up.Losing weight can take a while, you don't become overweight over night-its something that happens over the years, it's the same thing for losing-it might take a while. It's unhealthy to lose so much in a short amount of time as well, you should be losing about a pound or two a week at the most-its a long process.Good luck!

What Jade said. Remember it might not be possible for your stomach to be completely flat though, so be realistic.

Vladimir Putin NewbieThese two above speak truth.
Also, when you feel like giving up, use Google and look for pictures of me. I am in great shape for aging man. You will be inspired to continue with realization that anything is possible with great determination. -
Don't get discouraged, like Sick said, it can take time to effectively reach your goals, but you'll get there! These past nine months I've lost 33 pounds, and I still have more work to do. Once you reach a milestone and see how far you've come you'll be really happy and determined to keep it up. I know it took me a while to see results but it's worth it. It's helped me deal with a lot of my depression and I feel much more healthy. Good luck to you. I know you can do it! :D Also, like lions said, you'll never be completely flat. Strive for being healthy and strong.

Animelover9 NewbieHere is a tip:eat small nutritious foods like a small bowl of salad. It is okay to eat at least junk foods once or twice a month. Don't give up!

You are doing awesome, but it will help if you do short bursts of high intensity cardio. Works for me!
-
And like lion said, your organs muscles and ribs might be in a way that prevents complete flatness

And whenever you feel like giving up

Thanks for all the support and recommendations. I began trying to lose weight in May although I didn't exercise so hard. I'm 14 and was 132 pounds. Now I'm at 116 lbs. The only problem I have is my stomach, especially if not only my lower stomach. But I'm going to try to lose it. It just seems like it won't budge, but it must have a little because I can see lines where it used to be. I also have many stretch marks on it and matter of fact all over my body. But I rather have that than fat I guess
-
The stretch marks won't have been from you losing weight, because they are "stretch" marks you only get them from gaining weight or growing. I have some too and I've never been overweight :/
-
Well maybe it's from back when I was really over weight? I'm not sure
-
Yeah they're probably showing up more now you've lost it, don't worry they'll fade though
