UAAllstars43 NewbieThese are killer, my cheer gym does this and it burns but it works!
2 crunches
2 full situps
2 bicycles
2 v ups
Hold hollow body for 2 sec.
2 straddle ups
2 pike ups
Repeat doing 4 of each exercise, then 6, 8, 10, and 12. Then work your way back down to 2. So 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2. -
Just run. Running is really good for your abs and it builds endurance.

Judd NewbieLaugh a lot. Laughing exercises your stomach muscles quite a bit.

the work out that hit my abs the best was actually TKD. When I was doing about an hours worth of kicks everyday my stomach was pretty much always sore. hard abs too.
Otherwise back bends are surprisingly good for your core.
V-sits, l-sits, v-raises are GREAT for your abs.
Then obviously crunches, planks, situps ect.
BUT like DOA said, cardio is pretty good for your definition. It doesn't actually tone them as much as some other calisthenics but what a good routine of cardio does is lower your body fat so that what muscle you have shows clearly.
This is where it gets a little controversial though, some people will tell you that you should do TONS of strengthening for a week, then TONS of cardio the next, then TONS of strengthening then TONS of cardio ect. and that will very quickly give you the cuts you want. within a month or two.
The other group of folks will tell you that cardio and strengthening do not work against each other so you should do both in order to build a more athletic system.
I lean towards the second but that's just me.
either way, cardio and calisthenics = great abs.
let us know how it all works out! -
What part of your abs are you looking to tone? I mean if you wanna do an all round ab sculpt then I suggest crunches elbow planks flutter kicks sit ups sins they help a bit but they mess up your back so those wouldn't be the best. Then there's also reverse crunches. Now for the eating to get any abs you're gonna have to eat healthy don't do a calorie count. Just cut back on junk food and anything unhealthy drink lots of water run and you should be seeing results in about a month or two.

agreed with rockstar.
Calorie counting is insane silly.
there's a ton of variables involved in that stuff, and even more controversy on it, it's just nuts.
stay away from junk foods, don't go crazy on meat or dairy. basically a healthy diets a little meat, a little fish and lots of fruits and vegies nuts.
almost all of the health folks agree wheat is just plain bad.
