Lavender looked down. "Yeah, I get it." She mumbled.

Maeve was quiet for a few moments. ‘Chester said it would be best to stay as unproblematic as possible if I have to become queen one day. Seeing how they’ve treated his relationships, I don’t really want to put you in danger.’

Lavender nodded. "Yeah, makes sense." She turned around to look at Maeve.

Maeve gave a small smile, booping her nose.

Lavender gave a weak smile. She hugged Maeve after a moment.

Maeve blushed lightly. She hugged her back tightly.

Lavender held her tight, burying her face in her shoulder.

Maeve held her close, resting a hand on her hair, the other around her.

Lavender wrapped her arms around Maeve, not wanting to let go.

Maeve let her, resting her head on hers.

Lavender pulled away reluctantly after a moment, looking up at her.

Maeve smiled softly, poking her nose.

Lavender gave a small smile back, blushing slightly.

Maeve kissed her jaw.

Maeve giggled softly, resting her head on her shoulder. ‘You’re pretty when you blush.’
