Lavender rolled her eyes, chuckling.

Maeve grinned. She finished the mopping and threw it behind the counter.

Lavender smiled, walking close to her and taking her hand.

Maeve took her hand, grinning.

Lavender smiled back.

Maeve kissed her cheek.
‘Are you two going to be all lovey dovey or are you going to pay for the jars?’ Basil asked. Maeve rolled her eyes and disappeared. She reappeared 5 seconds later with a wallet. -
Lavender chuckled, letting her pay. "I'll pay you back for the ones I opened."

‘Nah, it’s okay, it’s my brother’s money,’ Maeve said. She pulled out a couple notes and put them on the counter.

"Okay." Lavender shrugged. Basil took the money and counted it before putting it in the register.

Maeve smiled. ‘Cya, Basil! Don’t tell Oliver!’
Basil saluted them then disappeared below the counter. -
Lavender chuckled, walking out the door with Maeve.

Maeve tugged her along. ‘Where to next, pretty girl?’

Lavender blushed, looking at her with a grin. "Wherever you want." She wanted to learn everything about Maeve's kingdom. It was all so fascinating to her.

Maeve giggled, pulling her out of the shop. ‘Okay, let me think.’

Lavender leaned into her, letting her think.
