Richard nodded, walking fast. -
Caleb followed. ‘What was that about?’

"What was what about?"

‘Why do you avoid your dad like the plague?’

Richard shrugged. "Because I want to get to our date~" He mumbled, though that was only part of the reason.

Caleb didn’t fully believe him, but he didn’t pry. He kissed his cheek.

Richard leaned into his touch, grinning.

Caleb grinned back. ‘You’re amazing~’

"Hardly~" Richard leaned back into him.

‘Oh, shush~’

"Never."

‘Fine, whatever.’

Richard laughed. He opened the door, holding it open for Caleb.

Caleb smiled and walked out.
