Evan sucked in a breath, eventually calming down and sitting up. “I- I’m sorry-“

"Hey, it's okay, don't apologize-" Connor said softly, shaking his head. "It's okay, promise."

“Okay,” Evan said with a sigh, leaning against Connor’s side.

Connor smiled and nodded, holding Evan close. He kissed the side of his head, humming softly.

Evan flushed red, rubbing his face with his hands. “How was your nap?” He asked, curling his legs into his chest and resting his head on his knees.

"It was good~" Connor replied, rubbing Evan's back. "I definitely like having a cuddle buddy~"

Evan smiled softly. “Yeah, it is kinda nice.”

Connor smiled, kissing Evan's cheek. "I'm sorry you've had to deal with these nightmares, though," he spoke softly, continuing to rub his back.

“Yeah, it’s kinda my own fault, though,” Evan said, chuckling awkwardly. “I’ll survive- I mean, they shouldn’t last forever.”

Connor hummed softly, hugging Evan close and kissing his cheek again.

Evan flushed red, smiling softly and turning his head to look at Connor.

Connor glanced over, admiring Evan. “Hey, pretty boy~”

Evan smiled shyly, admiring Connor. “Hi.”

Connor smiled, kissing Evan’s lips.

Evan kissed him back, lifting his head a little.
