Clay hummed softly, hugging George close. “I’m glad to be out here with you, though, it was definitely getting overwhelming in there.”

“I bet,” George chuckled awkwardly. “You said there was a gay girl?”

“Yeah, she said she’s got a girlfriend back home,” Clay replied, nodding. “I don’t think I’ve really met any other gay royals, so it was kind of nice, honestly~”

“That’s so cool,” George said with a me.

Clay smiled and curled closer to George, kissing his neck.

George smiled brightly, running a hand through Clay’s hair. “I don’t understand how people like this stuff, though- I mean it looks great from the outside but once you get in there it’s so stressful.”

"Exactly," Clay said with a chuckle, sighing softly. "I don't know how I do it sometimes- I certainly could never do what you do, that's for sure~"

“Yeah, my job is s---ty, never do it,” George chuckled, pressing a kiss onto Clay’s forehead.

"Is it really bad? Or is it just- a lot, sometimes?" Clay asked, leaning closer into George's side.

“It’s not- well, I love it, don’t get me wrong, it is just, yeah, a lot sometimes,” George nodded.

"So, like, no issues? No problems? Because if so, just like, let me know and I can sort it out-" Clay asked as he lifted his head, a hint of concern in his voice.

“Well- there is like, this one other chef who’s a pain in my ass-“ George scoffed quietly. “But otherwise it just gets stressful sometimes, y’know like every other job.”

"Well, if that chef is causing any trouble, let me know, okay?" Clay spoke softly, rubbing George's side with his thumb.

“Okay,” George said, chuckling softly. “It’s kinda nice, dating you- you’re kinda like my secret weapon.”

"True, true," Clay said with a chuckle, curling closer to George with a smile.
