Sam hummed softly, pretending to read through her texts. "Ah, yeah, it's called Mia's- God, it was such a pretty restaurant," she said, chuckling softly.

“Hm, alright then, I’ll let you go,” The queen said, sighing. “I’ll talk to you later, honey, okay?”

“Okay, bye~” Sam said with a smile, ending the call and sighing with relief.

“Alright, Clay, finish your schoolwork and head down to training,” His mom said, heading towards the door.

“Got it-“ Clay said with a quiet, nervous chuckle, nodding as he sat back down on the couch and opened up his laptop.

The queen left quickly.

George texted, furrowing his brows. -
my mom almost found out abt where
i was last night, but i got it covered-
you can come now, just be so careful-
Clay exhaled shakily as he texted George, his hands trembling nervously. He set his phone down and held his head in his hands, trying to calm down his breathing. -

i’ll wait a little and come up then
George frowned, deciding on cleaning the kitchen then coming up. -
Clay didn’t reply to the text, squeezing his eyes shut as he tried to take deep breaths to calm himself down.

George slipped into the room, quickly shutting the door behind him. “Honey? You still in here?” -
Clay looked up from his spot on the couch, his hands shaking and his breathing erratic.

“s----“ George said under his breath, quickly rushing towards Clay and wrapping his arms around him. “Breathe, hun, breathe-“

Clay exhaled shakily as his hands gripped onto his hair, his eyes squeezed shut as he hyperventilated. He tried to take deep breaths, leaning into George’s arms.

George gently grabbed Clay’s hands, bringing them down. “Hey, hun, look at me, you’re gonna be okay-“
