“I have a room in the servant quarters, yes,” Georgie spoke, nodding a little. “If- If you could walk me there, that would be nice, though- If not, I toootally get it! I’m sure you’re busy ‘n such-“
-
‘No, I’ll walk you there. Which leg is it?’ Casimir said, his gaze flicking down to Georgie’s legs to check for any visible ailments, then back at their face.
-
“My- My left leg,” Georgie spoke, glancing down. “I think it’s just a little sore from all the crouching down to the ground to prune the plants, I’ll be okay~”
-
‘Okay,’ Casimir said, moving to their left side. He wrapped an arm around them to help them walk and started leading him towards the castle, out of the garden.
-
Georgie blushed a little as they wrapped their left arm around Casimir’s waist, leaning into his side as they walked.
-
Casimir gave a small smile, holding them close. He walked to the servants quarters. ‘So, uh, what’s your family like? Less feral than my brothers, I hope?’
-
“Eh, more or less-“ Georgie said softly, wincing in pain slightly when they put weight on their prosthetic. “I have a few brothers and sisters, they help my mom and dad with work a lot- That’s who I’m currently taking over for, my father. He uhm, he got sick a bit ago, like pretty badly- I took over to hopefully let him get better.”
-
‘Ah, right. So your father is Jonathan Clark, right?’ Casimir said, noticing then wincing. ‘I was wondering why he left so abruptly. Try to put your weight on me.’
-
Georgie nodded, leaning into Casimir’s side and holding onto him a little tighter. “Yeah, that’s why he uhm, can’t work much anymore,” he spoke softly, exhaling.
-
‘I’m sorry that happened. He seemed like a nice man,’ Casimir said, gently rubbing Georgie’s side with his thumb. ‘Which one of these is your room?’
-
“Thank you-“ Georgie spoke a little shakily, blushing from Casimir’s touch. “It’s uhm, it’s just down the hall- I’ll- I’ll be okay from here, I believe-“
-
‘No, it’s okay,’ Casimir said, helping them towards their room. ‘I don’t want you to hurt yourself.’
-
Georgie blushed and smiled, leaning into Casimir’s side as they walked.
-
Casimir gave a small smile. He opened the door for Georgie, helping them inside.
-
Georgie walked in and over to the bed in the corner, sitting down and sighing with relief. They went to roll up their pant leg and take off their prosthetic, but quickly stopped, remembering the prince was in the room.
