“Buttering up to me so you can marry my child, eh~?” The older man teased, taking the envelope. Georgie blushed profusely, groaning. “Daaad!” They whined, moving over to Casimir’s side.

‘Er- Eventually, I hope-‘ Casimir said, blushing profusely. ‘B-But, er, no, I wanted to help you ease your debt. The amount in there should be enough to pay it off, as well as a bit more for food and medicine.’

Georgie blushed even brighter red, giggling softly at Casimir’s comment. “Thank you so much, Cassie,” they spoke softly, kissing his boyfriend’s cheek. “Yes- Thank you, Your Highness,” the older man spoke with a smile, opening the envelope.

‘It’s the least I could do,’ Casimir said with a small smile, wrapping an arm around Georgie. ‘I-I’m willing to help around the house, too. Cleaning, if you need any cooking done… Just until Georgie can get a job.’

“You don’t need to do that, really,” Georgie spoke softly, leaning into Casimir’s side. “That is what we had kids for, y’know-“ “DAD-“ Georgie groaned, his father laughing softly. His laughing was cut off and turned into a coughing fit, the blonde rushing to his side and grabbing a glass of water nearby. He handed it to him, exhaling softly. “Might be time for your next dose,” they murmured softly, rubbing his back.

Casimir moved out of the way so that Georgie could tend to their father fiddling with his hands. ‘A-Are you okay, sir?’ he asked worriedly.

“Yes, yes, I’m fine- This one acts as though I’m dying,” Georgie’s father spoke, chuckling softly. “Well, I’m sorry for being worried for you,” Georgie spoke with a sigh, opening a drawer and grabbing a bottle of medicine.

Casimir gave a weak smile. ‘Have you seen a doctor about this?’

“Everyone available in town- All of them say the same thing and give us the same recommendations and medicines,” Georgie spoke with a sigh, pouring some medicine into a spoon and handing it to his father, who took it and drank it. Georgie took the spoon and put up the medicine, rubbing their temples. “I just hope these methods actually work-“

‘Have they actually diagnosed him with something?’ Casimir asked, frowning slightly. ‘What have they said to do?’

“Most say it’s just some string of a virus, and to just take the medicine, get rest and fluids-“ Georgie spoke, exhaling shakily as they turned to Casimir. “I- I don’t know what else to do-“ “Hun, you’re doing more than enough for me,” her father spoke, gently taking her hand. Georgie exhaled shakily, leaning against Casimir’s side.

Casimir wrapped an arm around Georgie. ‘One of my friends is a doctor. I can get him to check on you, if you wish,’ he said. ‘Other than that, I don’t know what I can do.’

“That would be wonderful, thank you,” Georgie spoke softly, leaning into Casimir’s side. “So, how long have you to been together-“ “OKAY, time for your nap!” Georgie said with a nervous laugh, leading their boyfriend out of their father’s room. “C’mon, let’s go to my room-“

‘A few weeks!’ Casimir said with a giggled said Georgie dragged him out.
