Chris stirred awake after a while, yawning softly. He sat up a little, rubbing his eyes.

Mason looked up at him, smiling gently.

"Hi~" Chris replied with a sleepy grin, his voice low and scratchy.

‘Hey,’ Mason chuckled.

Chris sat up a little more, humming softly and curling closer to Mason. "Mm, that was a nice little power nap~"

Mason chuckled. ‘Good,’ he said, resting a head on his shoulder. His phone started ringing.

Chris hugged Mason close, kissing the side of his head. "Your phone's ringing, hun-"

Mason checked his phone. He grimaced. ‘It’s Jordan.’

"Ugh, seriously?" Chris said, furrowing his brows. He sat up a little, holding Mason close. "You don't have to pick up if you don't want to, don't feel obligated to, okay?"

‘I know,’ Mason sighed. ‘I’ll just see what he has to say.’ He picked up and put Jordan on speaker.

"Hey, baby~" Jordan said once Mason picked up. Chris immediately rolled his eyes, his hold on Mason tightening ever so slightly.

‘I’m not your baby. What do you want?’

"Damn, harsh~" Jordan said with a chuckle, his smirk obvious in his voice. "Just calling to see if you wanted to come over, babe, no need to get all fiesty~"

‘We’re not even together anymore!’ Mason exclaimed, frowning.

"Wow- you don't think I really meant what I said earlier, did you-" "Yeah, he f---ing did," Chris butted in, an annoyed look on his face. "Mason ended things, and he's over you, so f---ing deal with it." "Who the f---- oh, of f---ing course," Jordan said with a bitter chuckle, rolling his eyes. "You were cheating, I f---ing knew it!"
