“Heyy~” Evan said with a smile, offering his hand as he started to pull out of the parking lot. “How’re you doing?” -
(frr, and it keeps doing it :’))
“Good,” Connor said with a smile. “I have the bracelets,” he added, taking one of them and putting it on Evan’s wrist before taking his hand. -
“Awww, this is adorable!” Evan said with a smile, studying it for a second before looking up at the road as he turned onto it. “I love it so much~”

“I’m glad you like it~” Connor said with a smile, rubbing the back of Evan’s hand with his thumb. “I also got a gift from some of my boys, it’s- it’s certainly somthin’,” he added, pulling out his phone. -

“Oh, you gotta show me,” Evan said with a chuckle, squeezing Connor’s hand. “Hold on, wait till we get there, I wanna be able to see it.” -
(i have an idea if we need drama or a reason for them to get caught-
i was thinking we haven’t touched much on Evan’s mental health issues as much, i feel like?
so maybe at some point evan has like a panic attack and wants to.. yk yk (i need to figure out a reason why but) and he calls Connor and he rushes over maybe 🤷♀️) -
(ooh, i deffo like that idea, and like- evan’s boss finds out and gets mad at evan and then connor’s boss finds out and gets mad at him,
and then like, both the bosses get mad at each other, like, how dare you let your workers fraternize with mine! and whatever lmaoo)
Connor nodded, chuckling softly. “How was your day, hun?” -

“It was pretty good- also,” Evan paused for a second, chuckling awkwardly. “All of my kids know who you are now- I mean, kinda. They know your name and what you look like-“ He said as he pulled into the parking lot. -
“Oh Lord,” Connor said, laughing softly. “Finally caved, huh? I mean, I’d probably do the same, but they haven’t really asked-“

“No, when I came back from out little meetup in the lake my boys were really suspicious and they bet if they won a volleyball game against me that I would tell them,” Evan rambled a little, chuckling. “And let’s just say the sun was in my eyes-“ He laughed a little bit, unbuckling his seatbelt and turning to look at Connor.

“Pfft- Damn, you let those middle schoolers beat you?” Connor said, laughing softly. “Okay, okay, lemme show you what the boys made me,” he said, stifling his laughter. “It’s- it’s beautiful, trust me~” He opened up a photo of the painting they made for him, showing it to Evan.

“It was two against one!” Evan said with a laugh, nodding and leaning over to look at the photo. He burst out laughing, taking Connor’s phone to study it closer. “Holy s--- that’s amazing-“

“I know, right?” Connor said, laughing. “Award-winning, honestly.” He scrolled, a picture of a stained glass bluejay painting coming up. “Oh, and this was what Finn made. It looks awesome, doesn’t it?”

“Ooo, he ate that up,” Evan said with a chuckle, leaning over slightly to look at it better. “Yeah- That’s super impressive. Man, you got some crafty kids, huh?”

“Apparently,” Connor said, smiling. “Right, and-“ He dug around in the pocket of his shorts for a moment before pulling out two bracelets, one in different shades of green with Evan’s initials and one in different shades of blue with his own initials. “Matching bracelets~” He handed the blue one to his boyfriend, sliding on the other.
