“Can I grab some of your stuff?” Arthur said softly, squeezing Finn’s hand.

“Nah, it’s okay,” Finn said with a smile, leaning into Aurthur’s side. He moved over to his mom’s car and walked over to the side door, opening it and setting his bag in. “Hey, honey,” Finn’s mom said with a smile, turning in the seat to look at him. “Aurthur! Great to see you again~” Finn smiled a little, waving at his mom.

“Hi,” Arthur said shyly, waving and sniffling a little.

“Aww, you poor things,” Finn’s mom said with a small smile, chuckling softly. “Uhm, Mom, I- we need to tell you something,” the brunette said, a nervous smile on his face as he walked over to the driver’s side. His mom opened the door, turning to look over. “What’s up, hun?” “Uhm- Mom, Aurthur and I, we’re- We’re dating.”

“Yeah,” Arthur said softly, stepping next to Finn. “We started dating a little into camp-“

Finn’s mom awed, smiling. “Really? That’s so adorable~” She spoke, smiling. “I’m very happy for you two~” Finn blushed, smiling. “Thanks, Mom,” he murmured with a smile, leaning into Aurthur’s side. “Uh, so you- you know how we live kinda far from each other, right?” He spoke awkwardly, chuckling nervously. “Can- He’s allowed to come over, right?”

“Yeah- for like, weeks, at a time? I can get someone to drive me-“ Arthur said quietly, wrapping an arm around Finn.

“Well-“ Finn’s mom said, chuckling softly. “If your parents are okay with it, Aurthur, I’m okay with it~” Finn smiled happily, leaning into Aurthur’s side and hugging onto him.

Arthur smiled happily, nodding. “They will be- thank you!”

“Well, I hate to break the two of you up, I really do- But we’ve got to go, Finn,” his mom said, turning forward in her seat. “I’ll let you two say your goodbyes.” Finn exhaled and nodded, backing up a little as his mom shut the door. He moved away from the drivers side door, hugging onto Aurthur again.

Arthur started to tear up again, hugging Finn close. “I’m gonna miss you so much.”

“I’m gonna miss you, too,” Finn spoke shakily, tearing up again. He buried his face in Aurthur’s chest, letting out a choked sob.

Arthur sniffled, holding Finn close and gripping his shirt slightly. “I don’t want you to leave.”

Finn nodded in agreement, hugging Finn closer as he cried inti his shirt.

“I’ll- I’ll go grab my stuff and come home with you-“ Arthur said, feeling helpless.
