Lawrence gently rubbed his back, kissing the top of his head.

“It’s okay,” Briar replied softly, lifting his head a little. He exhaled shakily, curling closer to Lawrence. “I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with him anymore…”

Lawrence gave a soft smile. ‘C’mon, let’s go back to your bedroom and pack your stuff up,’ he said.

Briar nodded, standing to his feet after letting go of Lawrence.

Lawrence stood up and grabbed his hand, then walked to the door. ‘See you, Lucinda.’

“See you,” Lucinda said with a smile, waving. Briar leaned against Lawrence’s side as they walked, exhaling softly.

Lawrence smiled softly, holding him close. ‘So…’

“Time to start looking for cottages?” Briar asked, exhaling softly with relief.

‘Yep,’ Lawrence said, kissing his cheek. ‘And maybe divorce the wife so you can marry me~’

“Right, yes- I need to get those papers worked out,” Briar said, giggling softly.

Lawrence laughed, kissing his jaw. They got to Briar’s room and he sat down on the bed.

Briar flopped down onto the bed, rolling onto his back. “Ugh, I’m so tired,” he murmured, chuckling softly.

Lawrence laughed, latching himself onto Briar’s side. ‘Me too.’

Briar giggled softly, hugging onto Lawrence. “Mm, I love you so much~” He murmured with a smile, pressing a kiss on his jaw.

‘Love you too, babe~’ Lawrence whispered, leaning into his touch.
