Briar laughed softly, finishing off his second glass of beer. “Y’know what’d be funny~?” He asked, his words slurring a tiny bit as the alcohol began to settle in. As much as he tells himself he can handle his alcohol, he was very much a lightweight.

Lawrence noticed his slurring words and smirked. ‘No, what would be funny~?’ he asked, pressing lazy kisses to Briar’s neck.

“What if I just like, jumped into the lake~?” Briar asked, giggling as he went to pour himself another glass of wine. “Wouldn’t that be silly~??”

Lawrence raised an eyebrow, chuckling. ‘That’d be very silly~ Especially because we didn’t bring a towel or a change of clothes~’ he said, kissing Briar’s shoulder.

“But like, it’d be funny~” Briar said, his words slurred as he giggled. He took another swig of his drink, leaning back against Lawrence. “I kinda wanna do it~”

Lawrence raised an eyebrow. He took another swig of his wine. ‘Oh my god, you’re such a lightweight,’ he chuckled, ruffling Briar’s hair. ‘No more alcohol for you, you crazy man.’

“Noooo~ Give it baaaaack~” Briar whined, his words slurred as he reached for the bottle. He finished off his glass, hiccuping softly. “I’m- I’m fine~ I can handle my alcohol~”

Lawrence held the bottle out of his reach, pouring himself another glass. ‘No you can’t, baby~’ he said, kissing Briar’s nose. ‘You’re already so drunk~’

“But I want mooooore~” Briar slurred, setting down his glass and hugging onto Lawrence. “Maybe I should go for a whi~”

‘No, you don’t get more,’ Lawrence laughed, downing his glass. ‘Honey, you had two glasses and you’re drunk as f---~ Imagine what three will do to you~’

Briar replied, giggling drunkenkly. I’ll- I’ll be fine? -
‘No you won’t, now shush and eat a strawberry.’

Briar huffed in his pouty state, reaching over and grabbing a strawberry. “I still wanna go swimming~” He said before eating the strawberry, giggling softly.

‘No! You’re not going swimming!’ Lawrence laughed, holding Briar close and not letting him run offf.

“But I wannaaaa~” Briar jokingly whined, giggling as he tried to break free from Lawrence’s hold.
