“That’s real,” George hummed softly, holding Clay close. “I’ll always remind you, okay? And- I know this is kind of cheesy, but- could you say it? That you’re not a burden?”

Clay chuckled softly, curling closer to George. “I’m not a burden,” he murmured softly, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend’s waist.

“C’mon, that was weak, say it like you mean it,” George said, chuckling quietly.

Clay chuckled softly and rolled his eyes, a small smile on his face. “I’m not a burden,” he spoke a bit louder, curling closer to George.

“Good,” George said softly, pressing a gently kiss on Clay’s forehead. “I love you~”

Clay smiled a little and lifted his head, kissing George’s lips. “I love you, too~” He spoke with a quiet chuckle, hugging him close.

“Do you feel any better?” George asked softly, rubbing Clay’s back.

“Yeah, a bit,” Clay replied quietly, nuzzling his face into George’s neck.

“Good,” George said softly, rubbing Clay’s back. “Maybe you could try taking a nap.”

Clay nodded, curling closer to George and yawning softly.

Clay stirred awake after a while, yawning softly and lifting his head. He hummed softly, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. -
George curled closer to Clay, absolutely knocked out.

Clay glanced over and chuckled softly, gently hugging George closer. He hummed softly as he stared off at the wall, rubbing his boyfriend’s back.

George’s back tensed and he woke up a few minutes later. He tried to pull away from Clay before realizing who it was, sighing softly. “Ugh- my God.”
