“Uhh- Ooh, how about Monty Python?” Clay said, heading into the living room. “Damn, I haven’t watched that in ages, I love that movie~”
-
“Ooh, yeah, sounds good, actually,” Nick said, following him a few steps in. “I’m gonna go take a piss, actually~ You’re free to join if you want,” he said, turning and heading to the bathroom.
-
“Yeah, I’m good, but thanks for the offer~” Clay teased with a chuckle, going to sit on the couch.
-
Nick only responded with a forced chuckle, walking away to the bathroom. He closed the door behind him, leaning against the door and slumping down against it. s---- why the f--- did I tell him?? That family s---, Clay doesn’t need to know about that- God, Nick, why are you such a f---ing idiot- Tears welled up in his eyes, and he quickly wiped them away.
-
(naurrrr, mah poor bby :’))
Clay hummed softly as he pulled up the movie, going into the kitchen to grab a drink. He glanced over at the bathroom, considering going to check on his friend, but decided against it in case it just made things worse. -
(fr 😔)
Nick took a few deep breaths, hitting himself in the forehead a few times to try and get himself to calm down. Clay has his own s--- to deal with, he’s not dealing with you- He stood, washing his hands to make it seem like he went to the bathroom and heading back into the living room. -
Clay walked back into the living room, sitting down beside his friend. He watched him for a moment before turning to the TV, starting the movie.
-
Nick didn’t look at Clay, scared he would burst into tears. He leaned back into the couch, propping one foot up on the couch as he watched the TV.
-
Clay crossed his legs, watching the movie. He couldn’t keep his mind off of what Nick told him and he wanted to ask him, but he could sense he didn’t want to talk about it.
-
“It’s not…” Nick blurted out, still staring at the screen in front of me. “It’s not my fault, right? It couldn’t be.” He whispered, his hands shaking slightly.
-
Clay looked over, watching Nick with a concerned look. “No- No, Nick, of course not,” he said, shifting to face his friend. “You didn’t go anything wrong, promise.”
-
“But like- they didn’t do this with any of my siblings,” Nick whispered, still looking in front of him. “And now I’m the only other one in the house. I’ve gotta be something with it, right?”
-
Clay shook his head, wrapping his arms around Nick’s torso and hugging him. “It’s not your fault, okay? You didn’t do anything wrong, please don’t think that-“
-
Nick paused for a second, slightly surprised by Clay’s gesture. He really shouldn’t be, he had been friends with the blonde since forever, and he knew he was a big guy on physical touch. And he hadn’t been hugged in so long, the gesture made tears spring back into his eyes.

(gay- JK- unless ;)
lmfaooo)
Clay held Nick close, rubbing his back. “I really don’t think you did anything, okay? If anything, and I don’t mean any offense, but if anything, wouldn’t it be your mom’s fault? Unless it was her who divorced your dad, then- I’m probably not making any sense, am I?”
