“I don’t care about the love-bombing, It’s happened to me enough, I don’t care,” George said softly. “Just- please prove to me that you didn’t mean it-“

“I’ll- I’ll do literally anything, just tell me w-what to do to make it up to you y-you, George,” Clay spoke, letting go of George and pulling back a little.

“Just- just, don’t go see Jolie again?” George whispered. “And talk to me when you have an issue-“

Clay nodded, wiping away his tears. “I-I won’t, I promise,” he mumbled, exhaling shakily. “I’m sorry, Georgie…”

“It’s okay, it’s okay,” George whispered, swaying a little. “I’m just glad you told me.”

“I- I didn’t ruin everything, did I?” Clay murmured, resting his head on George’s shoulder.

“Mm, not really,” George said softly. “I mean- kinda. Just don’t do it again.”

“I won’t, I promise,” Clay spoke softly, exhaling. “Is there anything I can do to make it up to you? Like, I- I can buy you something, take- take you on a date, give you space- Whatever you need, I promise-“

George frowned, shaking his head. “No. Just don’t see Jolie again. But some alcohol wouldn’t be bad, honestly-“ he said with a chuckle.

Clay chuckled, lifting his head and nodding. “I think I can get you some,” he said, watching George for a moment. He exhaled softly, resting his forehead against the brunette’s forehead. “I really am so sorry…”

“I know, and I’m very thankful you are,” George said softly, closing his eyes for a moment.

“I’m just glad you don’t hate me,” Clay murmured, a tired chuckle escaping his mouth,

“I did for a second there,” George said with a chuckle, lifting his head again. “And- and I don’t particularly fully forgive you. Yet.”
