Yes you do. Hazel blushed, but didn’t say anything about it.

Shush. Max looked up, noticing she was blushing. "Sorry."

Fine. ‘No, it’s fine,’ Hazel said quickly.

Max nodded, but pulled away slightly.

Hazel let him.

Max focused on the movie, not wanting to embarrass himself any more than he already had.

Hazel cuddled her knees to her chest.

Max looked over at her eventually. "You ok?" He asked quietly.

'Of course.'

"Ok. I just wanted to make sure I didn't overstep any boundaries."

'You're all good,' Hazel said with a smile.

Max smiled. "Ok." He looked at the TV.

Hazel turned her attention to the TV as well.

Max grabbed some candy, eating some pieces and offering the rest to Hazel.
