Hazel looked at the waiter, then at Theo as they spoke.

The waiter nodded before leaving. Theo smiled.

Hazel smiled back. -
(Reaaaal- we can timeskip to the end of this dinner and let them say goodbye for the last time??)
Theo leaned into her.

The next day, Hazel and her family were packing up in the hotel room, preparing to leave to the airport.

Theo decided to say goodbye one last time, not knowing when he'd see her again. He knocked on the hotel door. -
Hazel’s stepmum opened the door. ‘Oh, hi, Theo.’
